As MDC Alliance Provincial leadership, we would like you to know that we are aware of the shenanigans in Zimbabwe involving the state acting in cohorts with Thokozani Khupe and Douglas Mwonzora which are meant to cause confusion and panic amongst our supporters and members at home and abroad.
The MDC Alliance UK and Ireland deplores the illegal recall of our MDC Alliance MPs; our National Chairperson, Hon Thabitha Khumalo, Secretary General Hon Chalton Hwende, Chief Whip Hon Prosper Mutseyami, Senator Lilian Timveous, Hon Nomatemba Ndlovu and Hon Tendai Biti
This clearly demonstrates how paranoid and desperate ZANU-PF and Mnagagwa are using the State institutions to destroy the people’s movement led by President Advocate Nelson Chamisa.
By way of this statement, while we await official communication from our National leadership in Zimbabwe, we would like to state unequivocally that we are MDC Alliance and we will never be cowed into betraying our people’s agenda. We remain resolutely behind our MDC Alliance able leadership. Please stand guided.
